Kosovo Albanian praises money from Emirates
Advisor to Kosovo Albanian Prime Minister for Health Affairs Dr. Dardani Arifaj has praised President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his noble stances towards distressed and affected people across the world.
She lauded the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its humanitarian assistance to Kosovo Muslims.
Arifaj also commended the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) for the health projects it carried in Kosovo.
In a meeting yesterday with RCA Acting Secretary General Saleh Al Mulla, the Kosovo MUslim Albanian official said the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Vucitrin would remain a key provider of health services to the needy population.
“The UAE assistance to Kosovo has significantly eased the suffering of the people there at time of calamities,” she said.
The meeting reviewed the possibility of the RCA’s contribution to the establishment of a cardiac surgery centre in the hospital. She explained that about 4000 Kosovo Albanians need heart surgeries every year.
Established in 2003, the Sheikh Zayed hospital provides health services to over 200,000 persons.
Al Mulla affirmed that the RCA would continue to offer humanitarian assistance to Kosovo.
