Bulgaria and the Czech Republic sign agreement for mutual defense and exchange of classified information
 
 
 
 
Bulgaria and the Czech Republic will sign today an agreement for mutual defense and exchange of classified information in Prague, the State Commission on Information Security informed.
The signing of the agreement was achieved after two rounds of direct talks between Bulgarian and Czech experts in Prague in February 2006 and in Sofia in May 2006. The talks between the two countries were held in a working and constructive atmosphere. After the end of the national procedure on inter-institutional coordination on the treaty’s text, the head of the State Commission on Information Security Tsveta Markova was authorized to sign the Bulgarian – Czech Agreement on behalf of the Republic of Bulgaria. Dushan Nawratil, the head of the National Security Authority of the Czech Republic, will sign the agreement on behalf of the Czech republic.
